The work for Mesa 7.0.4 packaging and repository submission should take no more than 1-3 hours if automated. This problem existed since OS2008.05-b86, so I don't think spending a few hours updating and packaging Mesa 7.0.4 will cause California to fall into the ocean.
Also, the holidays and winter break crisis. If Xserver 1.5.1 (Xorg 7.4)/Mesa 7.2 gets delayed for some reason (aka pushback), then we are screwed till next year (2009). This also provides us with a fallback official release of OS2008.11-b101 with Intel 2.4.2/Mesa 7.0.4 to test Intel graphics for OEM/System builders.
