I'm a twm guy. Never did like Motif. However, lots of applications demand Motif semantics.
As a compromise for the last 8 years or so I've run dual screen w/ CDE on one screen and twm on the other. Since CDE is going away I need to figure out how to do the same w/ Java desktop or something else that Sun supports. Getting the two window managers going is pretty simple. However, I'm also getting gratuitous junk ( desktop & toolbar windows) on the twm screen. Can anyone point me at docs that will help me kill them or an alternate desktop that lets me control what's on the twm screen? The desktop window respawns, so it's the biggest annoyance.
