Anyone know what the differences are or how to get more debug information? I'm passing Xorg "-logverbose 5", but it still pretty opaque.
I've got a Presario F767NR laptop w/ GeForce 7000M / nforce 610M chipset. Nothing works on U5 except vga at the wrong resolution. Driver appears to attach OK and appears to be the same as the U5 driver based on the dates. I've tried newer drivers w/ no change in symptoms. It appears that the initialization is failing for some reason, but that's just a guess after trying a few dozen experiments. Common message is grumbling about whether Nvidia's glx library is being used, but I don't know how to tell. Thanks, Reg BTW where does /etc/X11/.xorg.conf come from?
