Hi All, sorry to post this here, but a comment was added to the above bug I'd opened at build 77 and I don't see any way to add another comment to it on bugs.opensolaris.org myself.
This ties in with the X problems described in my other post. Since build 77 and still now, on the same xorg.conf, with no change in hardware, using either the bundled or blastwave's xscreensaver, no GL hacks work. They just display a black screen and produce sizeable corefile. I don't know if changes were made to the i810 driver since build 68. Nothing has changed in my configuration, still the same laptop, only the OS was upgraded regularly. Would be nice to have normal X performance and xscreensaver GL hacks back. Can anyone advise what's been done to the i810 driver since build 68? Maybe that will shed some light on why the i945 / i950 chipsets seem to have troubles performing since build 77.
