I was spending the weekend updating a test workstation to Xserver 1.4.2. There has been some nice changes in Xserver 1.4.2 which warrant an upgrade from the current solution - but requires a bit of an investment in looking at pixman, composite, and Mesa 7.1.
Thanks to Sun, I was able to dig deeper into Intel 2.3.1 on Solaris as well as the libdri concerns with laptop users. More to come. ~ Ken Mays This message posted from opensolaris.org
