You can use the radeonhd (for HDMI) or the radeon driver. Most users are
switching to the radeon driver for basic 2D video support if the radeonhd 
driver seems problematic. You'll have to create a xorg.conf file to activate 
the HDMI
features with the radeonHD drive.

I've tested OSOL b130 Live CD  and it works through autodetecting my radeon 
GPUs and usually choosing either the radeon or radeonhd driver. Both work for 
me and the snv_130 consolidation has the latest public releases of those 
drivers.
