I got some off-list feedback about the CMake files in xz.git so I know
that at least something about them works (static builds with MSVC and
MinGW). Some details are unclear to me but I guess someone will complain
if there are problems, although problems that only affect performance
are unlikely to be detected without actually looking for such details
("appears to work" doesn't mean that it works *well*).

Anyway, more feedback from CMake users is welcome. The liblzma part
should work on multiple operating systems; it's not Windows-only
anymore. See the comment in the beginning of CMakeLists.txt in xz.git.
