Sorry, I didn't mean to be personally offending. I was just trying to point out that we (including me) have the tendency to not look at how other people do things; they are many times much better, but it is hard to acknowledge, since it means lots of our preceding work was in vain (or, if you are optimist: was just to get experience, but no results).
