Thank you, but I need something else. The title was misleading : I need
the average stress in _one_ particle.
Anyway, it is 2-3 lines of code, so no big deal. I just wanted to avoid
duplicates.

Hi,
I'd like to get the mean stress tensor in particles using the contour
integral of forces (i.e. F_i*L_j/V on one particle, with L_j the contact
points), is it already implemented?
I think that a PhD student at my university has it already, in some a
bit older version of yade. I'm not sure if it is exactly what you
want: he cuts a box of volume inside a sample, finds all spheres that
cross this box boundary, gets their interaction forces and calculates
stresses. Also checking if the inside forces equal to outside forces.
This would be a nice exercise for him to commit this to BZR. But
I cannot tell you how long you would need to wait for this.
Łukasz can you just send the code that calculates the stress to Bruno?
