Thanks, but looking at the code macroAroundPt is doing something else.

In :

sum(fi*xj)/V

V is the volume of the particle, fi is the contact force, xj is the contact point. The sum on all interactions on one particle gives the (exact, and symmetric at static equilibrium) average stress in one sphere.
