Chareyre proposed the following answer: The bug is the same with ScGeom. It's not linked to the geometry type (or let's say, L3 duplicated the bug). You probably pointed out a very interesting bug, that is maybe related to other bugs in facet-spheres interaction (e.g. https://bugs.launchpad.net/yade/+bug/585898). Thanks for that.
