Hi,

I do not think there is any existing function that would do exactly what you 
want (obviously, I do not know 100% of the code, though..).
Anyway, it should be possible for you to perform yourself the trick, changing 
e.g. manually the "interaction physics" parameters for the interactions you 
want.
The id of your particles will probably obey some pattern in your case (from 0 
to 99 in the first pack, then 100 to 199 in the 2d pack..) that should help 
identify the interactions to handle specifically.

PS: this being said, I'm not sure I completely understood your
question...
