More or less related to your question (?) and for switching back and forth
between different simulations, the "Omega" class (i.e. your Yade simulation)
gives the possibility to define distinct "sub-simulations" through the "Scene"
concepts. See all the Omega functions including "Scene" in their name, e.g.
