Luc Scholtès gave more information on the question: Typically, here is what I get: Qin= -308.240063332 Qout= 0.0 Permeability [m2]= 0.0 || Hydraulic conductivity [m/s]= 0.0 and when I open the vtk file, I can clearly see 0 pressure values in every cells (1e-16) and high velocity values on several cells located on the boundary where the pressure head is applied (1e5). Regarding my laptop configuration (it is quite old but still running OK, bought it in 2012): Dell Precision M4700 Memory: 77 GIB Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-3840QM CPU @ 2.80GHz × 8 Graphics: Gallium 0.4 on AMD CAPE VERDE (DRM 2.49.0 / 4.10.0-37-generic, LLVM 3.8.0) OS-type: 64 bits Another interesting fact: I always get a wrong result (or no result if you prefer) when I am launching this script while another simulation (different, no flow involved, working alright) is running at the same time...
