Description =========== Missing steps in nova installation procedure in ussuri. Steps to reproduce ================== I followed the installation steps, but starting openstack-nova-scheduler and openstack-nova-conductor services were failed. Logs =================== I found below logs from keystone.log 2024-04-13 22:48:07.626 1600 WARNING keystone.server.flask.application [req-08df7ca6-1ef9-4b70-be72-751f28cf7c06 3ecc75f9d27b44149b3f92055bc6424b d2ac0422619145859853e509af85cc2b - default default] Could not find service: placement.: keystone.exception.ServiceNotFound: Could not find service: placement. Action taken =================== After I doing below steps, both openstack-nova-scheduler and openstack-nova-conductor services started. - create placement service user and add admin role in service project - create placement service & endpoints This bug tracker is for errors with the documentation, use the following as a template and remove or add fields as you see fit.
