I'm sure its just a settings thing but I'm totally lost.
Here's what happens (or doesn't)
In Yahoo Home
click chat
Yahoo chat Home Page appears
Click "Enter Chat Room"
Goes to "Loading Yahoo Chat" then times out.
It gives me the option to continue waiting or return to front page.
On my last computer I also had XP but when I clicked on "Enter Chat
Room" I was sent to a generic room. From there I wasn't able to do
private messaging at all. I would click "talk privately" or "send pm"
whatever the option is (its been so long I forget the exact wording).
The private screen would appear but when I hit send, nothing. When
people tried to contact me, I was unable to reply.
It also wouldn't let me change rooms. I would click on "change rooms"
and the screen would appear to choose a room. When I made a selection
noting happened, like it simply ignored me.
I didn't have this problem when I used my friends computer with
Windows 98, or another friends using Mac.
