I KNEW you weren't going to let it pass... if you did,
I'd wonder what happened to ya :P

Anyways, I had my gateway set up, and went to make a
change.  When I did so, the setup pages did not come
up and the only option was to reset the box to the
defaults.  Since I have done that, I have no idea what
changed to stop the webcams from coming through.  It
is a Linksys box, but I'm running it totally wired at
the moment.  XP Service Pack 2 was installed long
before I put Messenger on and reset the box.  No
drivers updated.  No changes to VM.  And finally, the
only error I get is "Network error connecting to
server."
