Are you still getting the same error message after you tried
reinstalling, etc. ?

Do you have all the other programs needed to run yahoo? i.e. Internet
Exployer 4.?  you need to check the list and see if all the other
software is installed.  Yahoo uses those programs to access it's
servers and run the program.
