I have a friend who is having troubles similar to what I've seen
described here. She cannot view cams and others cannot view her cam.
1. When I invite her, she gets the invite and accepts. I show that
she accepts, but I also show 0 (zero) people viewing. She says that
she is not viewing.
2. She turns her cam on and she can see herself in the web window.
She tries to invite me, but I never get the invite.
Doesn't sound like a driver or hardware problem, but more like a
firewall issue, to me. I wanted to test this out with another IM like
MSN or AOL, but she does not have those. I suggested disabling
temporarily the firewall and see if things work. I also suggested
uninstalling/re-installing Messenger.
Any suggestions?
