Linda, I'm a little confused?
Are you saying you can't log into chat, but you can log into your email?? If that is the case then no one stole your ID. My suggestion is to log into email, go to your account, and change the password. Your chat ID may have been booted, on auto kill, or on a temporary ban, but if you can get into email, then you have just unlocked that. Please advise if I'm reading that right.
