Backden,
There are a few things you can try. When you log into yahoo messenger, make sure you are using the same email account, and not another account to chat with. Make sure that your firewall is not blocking these messages from coming into your computer. Also, the mail icon is not a live connection to your email. It is a intermitten one, which means that Yahoo checks your mail every so often and adjusts that icon accordingly. So if you click on my mail, and you have deleted or read all the unread emails, then eventually that icon will go away when the next time Yahoo checks the mail. Also, make sure that in Yahoo that the appropriate box is check that says check your mail, and advise when new mail is received. good luck Netti --- In [email protected], "backden" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Hi, > > I joined this group out of frustration.
