Hi Netti....in answer to your questions..I can't log in under any name, because the log in screen will not appear. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no sucess. usually when the messenger was working, I could pull up the log in screen, even when i wasn't online. this dosen't even happen. unfortunately, i don't know very much about firewalls, window blinds, etc.... I have had the log in screen to appear 2 times in the past 2 weeks, and i was able to log in with no problems each time...however, i can't get anything to happen now....thank you very much netti for helping me,,, if you have any ideas, i'd love to hear them,,,,thank you,,,Jeff
