One of the only suggestions that I've seen so far is to make sure that you have the latest required software installed on your computer.
Yahoo is stating that the reason that yahoo crashes on start up is due to an older version of Macromedia Flash Player installed on your computer. Go here to download the latest version that will work with messenger. http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash If that doesn't fix the problem make sure these two files are on your computer and updated. Internet Exployer: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx and Windows Media Player http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/9series/default.aspx Let us know.
