[Y!M] My IM windows take 5 seconds to close...

I have been using YM for years and just in the past week, when I click the red X on an IM window, it stalls the program for up to 5 seconds and then the window closes and everything is fine.  This is the only program where this is happening.  I am also going to post this in a computer tech group that I belong to but I wanted to see if it was happening to anyone else out here.   Also, I have Zone Alarm Free firewall and ypager.exe is allowed but I do not allow yupdater.exe automatically since it is always wanting to connect to the i-net.  I do allow it occassional access so it can check for updates but I don't know why it's wanting unlimited access.  Does anyone else have this problem.   I have a very secure computer, compared to most people I know, and I run up to date MVPS Hosts file, ZA Firewall, AVG Anti-Virus,TrojanHunter4 Anti-Trojan, Anti-Rootkit Scans and all 5 Free Anti-Spywares.   In other words, my system is clean, so I do not know why YM slows down on closing an IM window.
