It is probably NOT a case of fraud or a hacked account.

You or your friend needs to look at the email "header" information to see if
that email is actually from you or if it is a "spoof", where some spammers
will make an email "appear" to be from one email address when it is actually
from a completely different source. Sites like MySpace, Yahoogroups, etc.,
all do this with legitimate messages but spammers also do it with spam.

Do not send those e-cards from sites that are not reputable. They end up
with two new GOOD email addresses to add to their spam list that they may
just use for themselves or may sell the list to others.

Check out the sites first by doing a Google or Yahoo search on the site
itself www.____.com with the word 'complaint' as part of your search and you
will find information about other complaints against that site, product,
etc.

If you still have access to your account, change your password.

If you do not, contact Yahoo support.

And either way, be sure you have a current spyware and virus check program
and run both for complete check.
