I have a new PC running Windows XP Media Addition and a new Logitech Quick Cam Ultra Vision web cam. When I try to access the web cam in Messenger -> Preferences -> Webcam, the Camera Settings and Camera source buttons are unavailable. When I try to start my web cam, I get the error message, "The webcam does not support the required image size." When I click OK to dismiss the dialog, the My Webcam window displays with the message, "Sorry, no Webcam was found on your system."
The camera works just fine with MSN Messenger and the Logitech software. This sounds like a bug! Any help to resolve this would be appreciated! Thanks, Steve
