I am updating two different fields to the same contact. Each field starts off as blank. I added a company name to the contact via Y! IM and then added a work phone number via Y! AB through IE7. I saved both changes almost simultaneously and both appeared to be successful as I didn't get any error messages. However, instead of seeing both the company and work phone in my contact, I just saw the company. The work phone never appeared on the contact. I refreshed the Y! AB and logged in and out of Y! IM, but the work phone never showed up.
I tried other fields and the problem doesn't seem isolated to those fields nor does it happen all the time. That's the maddening part. I cannot consistently reproduce this problem. Sometimes the contact correctly shows both new fields; sometimes it incorrectly only shows one. So the missing data problem sometimes appears and sometimes it doesn't. I just started noticing this yesterday. Has someone seen this behaviour from Yahoo IM? The AT&T Yahoo Messenger is 8.1.0.209 and MyYahoo Module is 8.0.0.1.
