Justin,

You probably have the auto-hide feature enabled for the icons in your system
tray. This hides inactive system tray icons. There should be a little < or
> to the left of your system tray icons. Click the < or > to expand or
contract the rest of your system tray icons. If you want to change how this
works, right click on your Start button or task bar and choose Properties.
Either check or uncheck the box for "Hide Inactive Icons" on the taskbar
tab.

Subject: [Y!M] I'm having my own problem!

My problems are always different than anybody elses. What my problem is, is
that the yahoo messenger smily face icon is not showing up in my systray.
for a few days it wasn't there after i started up my computer. I had my
computer of on sunday when i was gone for the day and turned it on that
evening. when i turned it on the icon was not in the systray. my computer
was on until this afternoon when i went off becuase the power went out when
i was working so i turned it back on after work. the icon was there then but
my norton antivirus didn't seem to be running. i just restarted my computer,
and my antivirus is running but the yahoo icon is not there though. yahoo
messenger is running though.
