Hi Stacey, With Yahoo Messenger 8, some of the sounds are almost silent. To correct this, download this file from http://www.wackyb.co.nz/option,com_remository/Itemid,3894/func,fileinfo/\ id,12/ <http://www.wackyb.co.nz/option,com_remository/Itemid,3894/func,fileinfo\ /id,12/> . You will be able to choose either the old sound or the new sound in various categories. I tried it and it works just fine.
