So it sounds like you had the cart in front of the horse. You had the
latest version of YM designed to run on the latest version of IE but you
didn't have the latest version of IE. Glad it worked itself out! For
others reading this, you should run Windows Update on a regular basis (at
least monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month) to make sure you are getting
your critical updates or other hotfixes that are put out. I don't update
everything that MS puts out but I do update the critical updates and then
decide on the other things on a case by case basis for each non-critical
update. Here is the Windows Update site (or you can use the Tools Menu on
IE or the Start Menu). Most folks have WU set to do automatic updates but
many folks have that turned off. I have mine set to notify me of critical
updates but do not download anything without my permission as I like to
control how and when things are downloaded and installed on my computer.

Subject: [Y!M] Re: Resolving these wretched script error messages

As a follow-up, interestingly it looks as if I resolved the problem.
After reading some other posts on here, I installed the latest version of
Internet Explorer. I already had 7.0 but the later version fixed the
problem, completely.
