I'm pretty sure the latest version 8.1.x is Vista compatible. I'm sure Yahoo is working on a new version but the latest version should also work for you. The main thing is to get the "FULL" version, not the one offered by Yahoo's site which is an "installer" version (around 475kb) that downloads and then starts downloading other parts. I find that installer method to be most likely to have glitches.
You can get the "FULL" 10MB version from several sources.
