That isn't what I meant Lenny, I'm talking about the information that it says
on the page is only for yahoo use, not given to public. I just looked it is NOT
in my yahoo public profile, birthdate, address, that kind of info is noone
elses business. So, every tom, dick and harry doesn't know my address,
birthdate,SS number, creedit card numbers or such.

Anyone can still see your Yahoo Profile if they have your yahoo name (which
shows up with every post you make to a yahoo group and in the emails people
receive who subscribe to the groups email list) but the members list is just
an easier way for someone to scroll through everyone and see a profile
summary of each member so it makes it easier for mods and owners to see more
about their members at a glance but doesn't give any more info than what you
put in your profile.... so every tom, dick and harry already has access to

I think you have an unfair advantage since you are a moderator... at least
I'm presuming you are since the Members List isn't available to members.
The group is set up and should be set up so that nobody else can see the
members list, except for moderators. Most groups that I belong to do not
allow the members list to be public or even available to other members for
anti-spam purposes although I do belong to a couple that don't have their
members list blocked. I doubt that it's anything a user can do but rather
something Yahoo decided to do as far as showing a small picture icon. At
least I never got any notice of it and I own/moderate several different
groups but rarely go into the members list except for occasional checking on
who's bouncing.
