Unless yahoo has changed its M.O., that's always been their problem. They
have beta programs with no feedback from YM testers... at least not on the
one time I beta tested YM way back when.. maybe version 5. Supposedly one
or more yahoo employees monitor this group but I'm not sure if any of the
people in the yahoo messenger tech support section actually monitor the
group so any complaints here might fall on deaf ears.... or would that be
blind eyes?

I like YM as a chat program and it's the main one that I use, but it's a
shame yahoo doesn't spend more time making YM and Chat Rooms into better
services. Then they or their advertisers could maybe make money off the ads
instead of mostly advertising to spam-bots.

Whenever I beta test a program, I wouldn't consider doing it for a program
that didn't have decent feedback set up for the beta testers. Heck, even MS
has feedback forums for their programs and the forums are monitored by and
contributed to by MS-MVP's and there are usually bug reports that can be
sent to MS also. In fact, whenever YM crashes, Windows sends a crash report
and many other programs I have will send crash reports to their respective
tech support sections but not YM... so Y not?

Subject: [Y!M] Messenger 9 beta and error messages

Hi
I downloaded and can use Yahoo Messenger version 9.0 beta but I am getting
an address exception error message on startup. Where can I make a bug report
to Yahoo? There seems to be no facility available.
