Karl, I'd rather be poor and be able to check out chick-pics on flickr! ;-) (Just kidding!)
Maybe you need to direct your questions to your ISP since they would know better than the rest of us out here in the un-filtered world. Or go back to using a tried and trusted version of YM. I still use 7.5 since I still see too many problems posted about 8.0 and 8.1... and of course 9.0 is still in the early Beta stages... not even in Beta 2 yet. You can get a full download of an older version at... http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_messenger/ Lenny Vasbinder FREE and automatic online remote backup of your documents, photos and files... https://mozy.com/?ref=SY4ZSI Check out how simple and secure it can be to use the Mozy remote backup system. Mozy will back up your most important files and folders every day/night while you aren't using your computer. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of karlcundiff Sent: Friday, November 23, 2007 11:39 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Y!M] Having Problems with 9.0 Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates...richest city in the world. Etisalat is the ISP. They block many websites for "cultural reasons," including Flickr. Since 9.0 is integrated with Flickr, I thought maybe they were blocking 9.0 at the DNS or something. I did get on 9.0 once a couple of weeks ago. Anybody else able to log in to 9.0 from the Middle East? --- In [email protected] <mailto:Yahoo_Messenger%40yahoogroups.com> , "LNVTM1" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Trying to get onboard where? > > Lenny Vasbinder > > FREE and automatic online remote backup of your documents, photos and > files... https://mozy.com/?ref=SY4ZSI <https://mozy.com/?ref=SY4ZSI> > Check out how simple and secure it > can be to use the Mozy remote backup system.
