I just peeked at the group and there is the option to view "List as individual messages" or "Group by topic". You can click on which view you prefer. Same with simplify or expand. I don't know if cookies would manage your preferences for these settings or not. Do you keep your yahoo cookies? If you clean out your cookies, then when you return to the page, it would go back to a default setting.
