To me, the major issues are spimmers (spam-IM's), spam-bots (in the rooms and then outside the rooms, they become spimmers), inadequate video server's speed or capability (often, webcams run really slow or freeze completely) and last but not least, program stability and efficiency. YM is becoming more and more bloated IMO... that's why I still use version 7.5x.
