And then, ALWAYS install a FULL version of YM, not the installer version that Yahoo offers from it's download website. You can get the FULL version of most version from FileHippo.com and other reputable download sites. But remember... YM doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the way Yahoo Chat might be working. While you can access Yahoo Chat from YM and then IM with folks you might see in a room, they are completely different programs and Yahoo Chat is based on browser technology where YM is not.
