Susan, I now only use y!messenger through my yahoo mail page, because working on a mac and yahoo no longer supports the operating system I have. I did not run into the problem you mentioned until the last day or so, and noted that when I receive an "add" request through messenger in my y!mailbox I have a choice to "accept" or "block sender". Generally I accept, however if any messages are sent to me that are obscene, etc., I write down the name so that the next time they contact me I can "block sender".
I am a little discouraged because I can't right-click to delete my contacts working within y!mailbox, however I feel fortunate that I have messenger at all, at this point. Hope this helps! --- In [email protected], "LNVTM1 - Lenny Vasbinder" <lnv...@...> wrote: > > I do not use Yahoo Mail except for checking it about once a day and sending > all of the spam to the spam folder.
