[Y!M] Call setup

I am trying to set up the voice for calls on messenger. When I go to "call 
setup" I will get the first screen, which tells you what it is going to do. 
Click "next" and it just goes to a blank box. The box has the "back, next, 
cancel" buttons on it but that is it. At that point, messenger freezes up. Any 
one have any idea how to fix this? I tried reinstalling messenger, but that 
didn't help.
I am running messenger 9 and windows XP pro.
