[Y!M] My yahoo pic

I'm wondering why it is on my YM that even when I appear offline or have myself 
set to appear permantely offline to people they can still see the pic I'm 
using? Even people who are NOT on my YM and IM me can see it ??? I know these 
people aren't using anything other than YM for their chat so it isn't that they 
are using some kind of special chat program (penguin?) that would allow that. I 
cannot see my friends pics when they are offline so this is really confusing to 
me. Any thoughts???? Thanks!
