Thanks [~bibinchundatt] for sharing the addendum patches, hope you can publish
about this issue in the forum, so that others are aware about this difference
from 2.8 to trunk due to change in dependent jar version REST can behave
differently, but wonder how none of the test fails in the trunk due to it!
