Assign to [~sjlee0] who actively working on this. I think there is no concern
for current change on branch-2/branch-2.8 and the only concern is if we want
these changes in trunk/branch-3. Given branch-2.8 will be out soon, shall we
file a separated JIRA for further discussion on what is right thing to do on
trunk?
