Daniel Templeton commented on YARN-6380:
----------------------------------------
It is a pointer to the same queue at creation time, but in
{{FairScheduler.executeMove()}}, line 1662 we set the new queue using the
{{setQueue()}} method, which sets the {{SchedulerApplicationAttempt#queue}} but
not the {{FSAppAttempt#fsQueue}}.
> FSAppAttempt keeps redundant copy of the queue

> The {{FSAppAttempt}} class defines its own {{fsQueue}} variable that is a
> second copy of the {{SchedulerApplicationAttempt}}'s {{queue}} variable.
> Aside from being redundant, it's also a bug, because when moving
> applications, we only update the {{SchedulerApplicationAttempt}}'s {{queue}},
> not the {{FSAppAttempt}}'s {{fsQueue}}.
