All your suggestions make sense to me. In addition to that, If the new
{{LightResource}} is targeted to solve the *internal* computation overhead, I
think we can safely assume it will be used in a single-thread environment and
no addition locks needed. Which can reduce even more overhead and delays.
+[~sunilg]/[~vvasudev], they are looking at similar issues now while doing perf
tests of YARN-3926.
Thoughts?
