Sure, I agree service would be better.
bq. does this mean a failed ZK instance needs to be strictly re-allocated on
the same node, or to be re-allocated on one of the nodes where zk instances
ever ran ?
The former. A named ZK instance (e.g. ZK2) should only be re-allocated on the
same node.
