I see.. we (we = TSv2 developers) recently discussed this and we have this as
part of next release items. I put it up at the next steps document on the
parent jira.

Current thinking is around the lines of working on yarn-7055 branch, having
maven profiles which would do conditional compilation for hbase 2.x. The
default compilation will be for hbase 1.2.6 (or latest stable hbase)
We have not yet created the mvn profile. Perhaps we should have a jira for that
