Why do not we create a getTotalNumContainers, getNumGuaranteedContainers and
getNumOpportunisticContainers (and the matching ones for the resource) for
future users to be consistent? Total would return the sum of the other two for
now and the sum of all three, if a third one is added, so that we do not run
into a conflicting compatibility and consistency scenario in the future.
