The original purpose is to reduce the absolute value of numbers, for example
996147.2 Ki ≈ 0.95 Mi. This approach will reduce precisions as well, but I
think it might be good for human readability. Thoughts here?
Findbugs warning should be simply deprecated in dev-support. We will not
compare AssignedGpuDevice to GpuDevice, inheritance is just for code reuse.
