Young Chen commented on YARN-7707: ---------------------------------- Hey [~botong] thanks for taking a look so quickly! 1/2. I'll get that fixed in the next patch. 3. That was because TestPolicyGenerator sets up a RM to check calling an RM endpoint, and the RMWebServices injects the timelineservice into the web service. The Router is set up similarly. 4. Right now it extracts the queues into a mapping of queue type > list of queues. Although the non-leaf queues are not used in policy generation right now, the extraction requires that I traverse the entire tree, so it seemed a cleaner design choice to not hard code for leaf queues. In the future we may have policies generated for non-leaf queues, as well as some sort of policy inheritance. > [GPG] Policy generator framework > -------------------------------- > > Key: YARN-7707 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-7707 > Project: Hadoop YARN > Issue Type: Sub-task > Reporter: Carlo Curino > Assignee: Young Chen > Priority: Major > Labels: federation, gpg > Attachments: YARN-7707-YARN-7402.01.patch, > YARN-7707-YARN-7402.02.patch, YARN-7707-YARN-7402.03.patch > > > This JIRA tracks the development of a generic framework for querying > sub-clusters for metrics, running policies, and updating them in the > FederationStateStore. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yarn-issues-unsubscr...@hadoop.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: yarn-issues-h...@hadoop.apache.org
