Thanks [~BilwaST], this looks good.
Just a couple things to wrap this up:
* I assume the unit test would give more than 1 connection before the rest of
the patch? Are the two queries enough?
* Some of the new logs look like debug more than info, if you think they are
not necessary move them to debug.
